We trust you are having a rockin’ summer as you prepare for the first-ever Monsters of Rock Voyage coming next February. NOW SOME AMAZING NEWS… When we first launched, it was our goal to sell-out half of the ship for the inaugural Monsters of Rock Cruise. Far exceeding our expectations, it happened in about one month and now we are pleased to announce that we have decided to fill the ENTIRE SHIP with Monster Metal Maniacs! That’s correct, we are chartering the whole ship in order to make your Metal exclusive experience the best it can possibly be!! Tell your friends to get off the dime and book now before it’s too late! More Artists and fun will be announced in the weeks/months to come.
Now let’s get to some important information that you all have been waiting for…the Monster Pre-Party. As you all know, if you booked your cabin before July 5, 2011, your admission to the party is complimentary (drinks will be available for purchase). We are now extending that deadline to August 31, 2011 (or while tickets are available), so please book now to take advantage of the offer. All bookings after that date will not receive the complimentary admission, but will be extended an opportunity to purchase if additional tickets become available.
 Today, we are thrilled to introduce the perfect venue for our party…we could not have picked a better location and ambiance for our Metal Mayhem! It all happens in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 7:30 PM to 1:30 AM at the fabulous Exit 66 Nightclub (formerly know as Summers on the Beach), right off the beach at 219 South Ft. Lauderdale Beach Blvd. You will find it in the heart of all the beach action, convenient to area hotels, the Cruise Port and the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International airport.
Much more than the average concert venue, Exit 66 is a soaring three-story, block long party playground designed for rock concerts combined with a “clubby” atmosphere. This legendary facility was called Summers on the Beach back in the 80’s, played by many era Metal bands (including a few on our cruise) and was the site of many sordid tales of decadence and debauchery!! In addition, Summers on the Beach became the backdrop for the 1983 film Spring Break, which depicted pre-adolescent dreams of loose chicks, cold beer and the endless summer party. So, here’s the rule for OUR Party on February 24th...what happens at Exit 66, stays at Exit 66!
 Designed and envisioned by international nightclub designer, Callin Fortis, Exit 66 is a unique addition to the list of infamous nightlife playgrounds around the world. Comprised of a myriad of thoughtfully designed and inspired room concepts, Exit 66 has something for everyone. Every space is over the top, with unique décor stimulating the senses at every turn. Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony performed a set with the Atomic Punks in Pasadena, CA, and said "I feel like I am back in 1982 performing with the old band!" Anthony added, "The Atomic Punks rock!"
Nationally syndicated radio host Howard Stern stated on his show, "The Atomic Punks become Van Halen. It's the total experience, they do Van Halen better than Van Halen themselves!"
